If there’s one thing I know, it’s what real leadership looks like. After a decade of serving Brooklyn on the New York City Council, I’ve watched my daughter, Yvette, follow in my footsteps and lead by putting New Yorkers and Americans first. Donald Trump is doing the exact opposite.

And let me tell you something— Black leaders, and especially Black women, will be the reason we flip the House in 2026.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. We have a President willing to put Americans on the line so he can enrich his billionaire buddies and fuel his own personal vendetta against our closest allies.

But here’s the good news, friend: we can stop him. We’re just three seats short of having a check on Donald Trump and House Republicans, and Yvette is helping lead the charge. Black candidates across the country are running for office and are ready to win!
