John, when I was elected to the Virginia State Senate in 2023, I became the tiebreaking Democrat to protect the right to choose from Glenn Youngkin’s repeated attacks on reproductive freedom. 

This accomplishment is so incredibly important to me. I was trusted to represent SD-7, and I defended their rights in our State Legislature. Standing up for Virginia is what matters most to me, and I promise to always fight for what’s right.

I’m proud to have been a tiebreaker on such critical legislation, and I’m ready to keep up the fight as Lieutenant Governor.
