Dear John,The clock struck midnight on the Campaign Finance Board (CFB) filing deadline last night, so I'm following up this afternoon with a quick update:

Our campaign hit our fundraising goal — raising over $8.3 million! We are only the second candidate in the race to reach this critical milestone.

From the very bottom of my heart, thank you, John. We couldn't have done this without you. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every New Yorker who donated when they could, and to our volunteers who reached deep into their networks to help raise money. Each and every dollar has had a direct and immediate impact.

This amazing haul demonstrates the remarkable grassroots support for our campaign — and the strength we've built together. Now we have the maximum resources to communicate to as many voters as possible, ramp up our organizing efforts even further, and bring it home in the remaining 35 days until the Democratic primary.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

And one more thing. John: We were only able to arrive at this moment with help from New Yorkers like you. Meanwhile, corrupt Andrew Cuomo is funding his campaign with MAGA influencers, super PACs, special interests, and billionaires like Bill Ackman. It's a disgrace.

Now it's time to dig in. Over the next 35 days, our job is to talk to as many voters as possible about our campaign for a safer, more affordable, and better-run New York City.

This weekend, our campaign is hitting the streets hard. We've got several canvasses and actions across the city on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25. Will you sign up for an organizing shift near you?

I CAN VOLUNTEER THIS WEEKEND! [[link removed]]

John, I am deeply grateful that you chose to support our campaign. And I am incredibly proud of what we’re building together.

Thank you for opening the many, MANY emails we send — and thank you for reading them. It shows that you care about the city we all share.

With hope for a better New York for all of us,

Brad
