Friend, we could all use some good news these days, so I wanted to highlight one of our latest victories for Ohio families:
We recently brought home nearly half a million dollars to fund oral health and immune system research at the University of Toledo.
That's funding that will make a big difference in people's lives. Specifically, it will power research into oral thrush, a condition that affects infant mortality and early childhood health outcomes.
Friend, I’m proud to see federal research dollars supporting work that could have a profound impact on our most vulnerable — our babies, children, and families.
I'll never stop fighting to bring victories like this home to Northwest Ohio, and I'm so grateful to have you with me in that fight.
