Governor Kelly Announces Staff Change

TOPEKA *– Governor Laura Kelly announced Monday that Olivia Taylor-Puckett has joined the Kelly administration to serve as communications director.

“Olivia’s deep Kansas roots and extensive expertise make her an ideal leader for my communications team,” *Governor Laura Kelly said. *“I welcome her insight and look forward to working with her in this role.”

Taylor-Puckett joins the Kelly administration after serving as the senior communications advisor to the Arizona Democratic Party. She previously worked as communications director for Congresswoman Susan Wild (PA-07) and the New Jersey Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee.

“It is an honor to join Governor Kelly’s administration and serve the people of Kansas,” *said Olivia Taylor-Puckett.* “I look forward to sharing with Kansans Governor Kelly’s leadership in fully funding public education, investing in the state’s infrastructure, and championing economic development.”

A Kansas native, Taylor-Puckett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Kansas.
