Large-scale environmental incidents and emergency events such as fires, floods, dam failures, and oil spills can and do occur in Michigan. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, partners with sister state and federal agencies to  prevent large-scale hazards and be prepared to respond when an emergency does occur.  Lithium-ion batteries have great benefits; however, they can cause fires when not used and recycled properly.  Please join us for this insightful webinar to understand how to properly use and recycle lithium-ion batteries to prevent fires.
