[ [link removed] ]Palestinian children play in the rubble of their homes that were
destroyed by Israeli military strikes in January 2025.
John,
At least 100 children *every single day* have been killed or injured in
Gaza since Israel broke the ceasefire earlier this year. Gaza has
more children who’ve lost a limb than anywhere else in the world and an
entire population on the brink of famine.
Israel’s relentless bombardment and aid blocks are annihilating
Palestinians – and Microsoft is helping make this horror
possible, supplying the Israeli military with the AI and tech to
coordinate airstrikes that erase whole neighbourhoods and kill tens of
thousands.
We can change that.
Microsoft is about to host its annual tech conference. This is our chance
to amplify the voices of its employees and industry leaders, and
force Microsoft execs to respond. But we need your help.
Our plans are big. But if enough of us chip in, we can make it
happen: working quickly to mobilize turnout, print materials, secure
equipment, buy targeted ads and reach out to journalists and influencers
who can help us get the word out. All of these things cost money – not to
mention all the research and legal costs that go into planning and
delivering this campaign. Together we make this a moment TOO BIG for
Microsoft to ignore.
Let's be the force that tips Microsoft to divest from Israel’s
military, and helps end this genocide. Can you chip in?

About half of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents are children. Many are at
critical risk of famine, and those who survive must now bear the deep and
invisible scars of war – many of them alone.
Yet leaked documents confirm Microsoft is providing *millions of dollars*
worth of tech to Israel's military: from tech to develop cutting-edge spy
technology to the databases that store target information for lethal
airstrikes. One of the tools offered is OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Microsoft, which
is the largest investor in OpenAI, claims they are developing AI for the
greater good – but its partnership with the Israeli military tells a
different story.
Microsoft's own employees have been urging the company to sever its ties,
and the public is behind them. Our petition is nearing 100,000 signatures
and news reports say the pressure on Microsoft is 'close to a tipping
point'.
If we move quickly, we can amplify our collective voices, and put these
execs in the hot seat at their own conference. They'll have no choice but
to respond.
Every little bit counts. Can you chip in to help make it happen – and end
the suffering of Palestinians?

P.S. After an incredible global public pressure campaign in the 1980s,
Microsoft divested from South Africa’s racist apartheid. It was a huge win
in the movement to end apartheid and the company still celebrates its
action today. Let’s show Microsoft it can be a world leader for
Palestinian and human rights once more!
Thanks for all that you do,
Yasmin and the Ekō team
