The “big beautiful” bill in Congress came crashing down last week, as fiscal conservatives voted down a spending bill that would add trillions to the national debt in four years.

Never mind that Congress should be debating shutting down entire parts of the bureaucracy rather than just some spending cuts.

The other big story in Congress this week was that multiple representatives were caught sleeping at their desks during an overnight session on the failed bill:



Republicans in Congress are embarrassing themselves when they could be racking up easy victories.

For instance, they could start by passing the bill to ban the Central Bank Digital Currency.

H.R.1919 – the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act – was put on the House Union Calendar two weeks ago.

But House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) still hasn't scheduled it for a vote.

Send Mike Johnson an e-postcard right now demanding he put H.R. 1919 up for a vote NOW and slam the door shut on a CBDC.

With 135 cosponsors, there's plenty of Republican support.

And since Republicans have done absolutely nothing to make good on their promises so far this year, now might be a good time to start.

In fact, banning the Central Bank Digital Currency was one of only a few specific policies called for in the 2024 Republican platform.

The CBDC is a Trojan horse for massive spying on Americans' private financial transactions.

I know I don't want the government to have the power to know everything I buy and confiscate my savings with one keystroke.

But right now, Congress continues to lollygag instead of passing any meaningful restoration of our civil liberties.

Let's change that right now: Contact Speaker Mike Johnson and tell him to put the bill to BAN the CBDC up for a vote.

NO American should be denied the right to engage in commerce and enjoy the fruits of their labor because of how they would choose to spend their money.

But with a Central Bank Digital Currency, what little remains of your financial privacy would be eliminated, and the statists would have total control over your money.

We’ve warned for years the globalist agenda is coming for your freedom. They’ve been working toward their goals for decades.

They want your money, your job, and your speech under their control.

Their agenda is opposed to freedom itself, and the CBDC is a central plank in their scheme.

That’s why we need Congress to stop the Federal Reserve’s plans, BAN the CBDC, and protect what financial privacy we have. Let’s make sure Congress knows how critical it is to get this done.
