Dear John,

On Wednesday we will gather as a community to hear about the Local Peace Economy Mother's Day initiatives that some of CODEPINK's local chapters organized. All over the U.S., members of CODEPINK's extended community engaged in projects ranging from mutual aid to skill sharing, seed swapping to random acts of kindness, all of which serve as a way to break through the war economy mindset that blankets so many of our relationships and public discourse.

We'll hear from the cultivators about best practices and take-aways of organizing such events, and share with those gathered how the Local Peace Economy is making a difference in their communities.

Won't you join us on Wednesday, May 21st <[link removed]>.

Please feel free to bring poetry or other creative offerings to share with the group.

Breakouts will not be timed and larger than in the past, allowing for extended connections and ample time for conversation.
