John, what grade would you give Lee Zeldin’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)?

Let’s break it down.

Since Donald Trump appointed Lee Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency, the EPA has become almost unrecognizable — a shell of the agency that once protected our public health and environment.

Here’s just a fraction of what Zeldin’s EPA has done:

❌ Zeldin launched the most consequential environmental protection rollback in U.S. history: 31 sweeping actions to deregulate power plants, oil drilling, car emissions, and toxic air standards.

❌ He proposed slashing two-thirds of the EPA’s budget — crippling its ability to monitor pollution and hold corporate polluters accountable.

❌ And just last week, Zeldin announced plans to gut federal protections against PFAS — hazardous chemicals in our drinking water that are linked to cancer, heart disease, and birth defects.

Zeldin himself called the climate movement a “religion” and bragged that his goal was to drive “a dagger straight into [its] heart.”

When someone in charge of our clean air and water talks like that, you know exactly where their loyalties lie, and it’s not with the people. That’s why we’re asking for your input — to make it clear that we see what’s happening, and we won’t sit this one out.
