Dr. Peter B. Landecker has pledged to match every gift received — up to $100,000 — if we raise the same amount by midnight on May 22. He's made this generous pledge in memory of his mother, Mildred Landecker, a longtime friend and supporter of the Alzheimer's Association. This gift will support our International Research Grant Program, which funds investigations to advance our understanding of Alzheimer's, identify potential treatment strategies and improve care for people living with dementia.
Dr. Peter B. Landecker and his mother, Mildred Landecker
Alzheimer's is a devastating disease that affects millions of Americans — but your support helps us provide essential resources, advance research and advocate for change:
Our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), education programs and support groups are helping those affected by Alzheimer's navigate their journey with compassion and care.
We are advancing research toward new treatments, with U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved therapies available that could transform the lives of some people living with early Alzheimer's. Furthermore, clinical trials worldwide continue to explore potential treatments that could slow or even halt the disease.
We are unrelenting in our advocacy work, fighting for the rights of those impacted by Alzheimer's and all other dementia, while pushing for greater research funding to alter the course of this disease for future generations.
With utmost gratitude,
Michael Reich
Chief Marketing Officer
P.S. More treatments are in the pipeline, and more care and support resources are reaching those who need it. But we need your help to keep progress moving forward, and we need it today. Seize this opportunity to double the impact of your gift on our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Thank you for all that you do.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
