It’s not just talk. MAGA Republicans have introduced proposals to slash
federal support for public media, cheered on by far-right voices who see facts
and independent journalism as a threat.

Public media connects rural communities, supports educational programming for
kids, and gives Coloradans access to reliable, independent reporting. In a time
of chaos and disinformation, it’s never been more essential —and it’s never
been more under threat.

Lauren Boebert doesn’t want Colorado’s 4th District to have access to honest,
public-interest journalism. I do.
