We have the rights and freedoms we’ve come to know and love today because the
colonists fought for liberty.


 

Friend – The Boston Tea Party was one of the most important moments in
American history. Colonists were tired of being taxed without the
representation that was supposed to accompany the taxes they paid.



They poured their English tea into the Boston Harbor, their first act of
defiance against the British.This defiance ignited the American spirit and the
fight for the very rights and freedoms we’ve come to know and love today.
