Last week, Donald Trump said he “didn’t know” if he’d uphold the Constitution. That’s not the language of someone struggling to do the right thing — that’s someone set on inflicting lasting damage to our democracy for his own personal gain.

Trump is attacking the courts, undermining the rule of law, and targeting anyone who stands in his way. This is a full-scale assault on our democratic institutions, and he’s doing it because he thrives on chaos and believes he and his billionaire friends can profit from it.

We have to put an end to the grift. That starts by holding NC-02 and flipping the House blue — but that work must begin right now.
