Earlier this week, Debbie was in a marathon 30-hour House Energy and Commerce Committee markup meeting to fight back against the proposed budget reconciliation bill introduced by Republicans that threatens the biggest Medicaid cuts in history.

The budget reconciliation bill ultimately advanced out of the Committee meeting, but Debbie is still fighting for Medicaid and to protect the 8.6 million people who are at risk of losing their health coverage if this bill passes.

Debbie has a target on her back, and she’s already being attacked in the media for speaking out against the proposed Medicaid cuts and sharing the real-life stories of everyday people that will be impacted if these cuts become a reality.
