The level of corruption we’re seeing from the Trump administration is unbelievable.

In case you missed it, Donald Trump is planning to accept a $400 million luxury plane from Qatar. The jumbo jet is described as a “palace in the sky.”

"Trump administration will accept a luxury jet from Qatar to use as Air Force One."

When asked at a press conference, Trump said this:

“I think it’s a great gesture from Qatar. I appreciate it very much. I would never be one to turn down that kind of offer. I could be a stupid person and say ‘no, we don’t want a free, very expensive airplane,’ but I thought it was a great gesture.”

While all of this is happening, Republicans are working to gut Medicaid and Social Security — just to hand tax breaks for their billionaire friends.

Donald Trump’s #1 priority is always about enriching himself and leaving hardworking families behind. He made it clear in his first term, and he’s doubling down right now.

This is shameful. As the proud son of immigrants, I saw my parents work day-in and day-out to make a living — my dad as a short order cook, my mom as a housekeeper. Trump and his cronies have no clue about the struggles everyday Americans face.

I won’t stop fighting in the Senate to call out corruption, protect the progress we’ve made, and fight so everybody can achieve their American Dream. But I need your help:

Unlike Donald Trump, I won’t ask you for a $400 million jet. Instead, I’m hoping you can pitch in just $14 to help me continue our shared work in the U.S. Senate. Americans deserve leaders who will put the public interest above their self-interest.
