My team had to break the bad news to me last night — we didn’t hit our
mid-month fundraising goal. We were this close… but close doesn’t pay for
staff, ads, organizers, or the major fight we know we have ahead of us. So

fight for. That’s who I answer to. I answer to THE PEOPLE.
But doing it our way — the right way — is harder. When you refuse
corporate money, when you tell the political establishment “nah, we’re not
for sale,” it means you’ve got to hustle a little harder. And that’s
exactly what I’m doing today.

politics-as-usual. We’re building something bold, something rooted in
justice, in love, and in a vision for a future where everyone — everyone —
gets to thrive.
