Hi John — I’ve been thinking a lot about what we’ve been hearing from folks since Donald Trump took office this past January.
“We’re worried about our future.”
“Can Trump and Musk really do that?”
“I’m scared that I’m going to lose my Social Security”
Those are just some of the messages that my staff and I are hearing from folks like you on a daily basis.
John, I won't sugarcoat it: I'm worried, too.
But after people tell me their fears, they usually will say something like:
“What can I do to fight back?”
“I’m ready to help, where can I jump in?”
“Keep fighting, Maggie.”
The strength and resolve of Americans, even in the face of Donald Trump’s attacks, will never cease to amaze me.
So John, if you’re wondering what we can do, how can we fight back, and how we can keep hope alive while so much is at stake:
