Gavin Newsom just unveiled his $322 billion budget — and it’s even worse than expected.

California is facing a $12 billion deficit. How is our state broke when we pay the highest taxes in the nation?

Because Gavin Newsom is still spending $11.4 BILLION on FREE healthcare for illegal immigrants.

That’s nearly the same size as the entire deficit. Cutting this one reckless program could fix it.

But instead, Newsom is slashing funds for seniors, foster youth, childcare, and the developmentally disabled — just to keep this massive giveaway for illegal immigrants.

Every dollar given to an illegal immigrant is a dollar taken away from legal residents. It’s insulting to generational Californians who are facing soaring medical costs and declining access to care.

I called on Newsom to freeze Medi-Cal for illegal immigrants over a year ago. If he had listened then, we wouldn’t be in this mess now.

Now, deep in crisis, he’s finally making minor adjustments— but it’s too little, too late.

Here’s what he’s proposing now:

• A freeze on new illegal immigrant enrollees… but not until 2026
• Illegal immigrants already enrolled get to keep full benefits
• A $100 premium, but not until 2027

Newsom and Democrat lawmakers are still putting illegal immigrants first and California citizens last.

While Newsom funds their free healthcare, our services shrink, costs go up, and quality of life declines.

And Americans across the country should take note: Newsom is eyeing the White House. This is the blueprint he wants to take nationwide.

They say a budget reflects our values. Well, these are the Democrats’ values.

If these values don’t reflect yours, you’re not alone.

There’s only one way to stop these insane policies in Sacramento and that’s by getting more Republicans elected.
