John --
As you know, four Brand New Congress candidates are headed to the general election in November: Adrienne Bell (TX-14), Nick Rubando (OH-05), Kara Eastman (NE-02) and Paula Jean Swearengin (U.S. Senate, West Virginia).
Paula handily won her race last week, now we have 10 BNC candidates facing primaries in just 10 days, on June 23rd!
Can you pitch in $10 right now and help us support our candidates in Kentucky and New York?
Our candidates are gaining traction and attention in the lead up to their June 23rd primary date.
Charles Booker’s campaign is picking up speed as he fights to challenge Mitch McConnell in the Bluegrass State. Charles also garnered endorsements from the two largest newspapers in Kentucky, the Louisville Courier Journal and the Lexington Herald-Leader.
The Lexington Herald-Leader put it best:
“Charles Booker is the only one generating real excitement among young people and old. We believe he would move the state in the direction that Kentucky needs to go in the future so it can, at long last, move forward.”
Both Charles Booker and Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) received endorsements from Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez this week!
In a major victory, Jamaal also garnered an endorsement from the New York Times, in his bid to unseat entrenched incumbent Rep. Eliot Engel.
Mel Gagarin (NY-06) is the first challenger to incumbent Rep. Grace Meng since her win in 2013. Mel has been pressuring Grace for a debate and the public have taken notice and Lauren Ashcraft (NY-12) is set to debate establishment incumbent Carolyn Maloney on Tuesday June 16th.
John, our New York nine is fierce! Add in Charles Booker and we have 10 AMAZING races to watch in the June 23rd primary.
Can you chip in $10 right now and help us ensure these candidates move on to November?
