This Saturday, May 17, is Free Fishing and Park Entry Day — meaning you can *fish and **visit state parks without the need to purchase a permit for the day.*

The outdoors is for everyone! So find a park [ [link removed] ] near you, grab a rod and reel, and get ready for a great day. Some state parks are hosting special events [ [link removed] ], including fishing derbies and tours of new facilities. Plus, it’s the kick-off day for year two of Your Parks Adventure: Trail Trek [ [link removed] ], a free program highlighting trails statewide. 

Whether you're up for a solo adventure or rounding up some of your closest friends and family, it all makes for a fun, relaxing Saturday outdoors.
