I=E2=80=99m writing to you today to expose the dangerous economic proposals=
being pushed by Labour and the Greens =E2=80=93 two peas in a fiscally del=
uded pod.=C2=A0
=C2=A0=C2=A0
The Greens=E2=80=99 =E2=80=9Calternative=E2=80=9D budget is nothing short o=
f magical thinking. They, along with Labour, are hellbent on confiscating i=
ncome from hardworking Kiwis and returning to the failed policies of the pa=
st: higher taxes and inflationary spending that wrecked our economy.=C2=A0

Here=E2=80=99s what they=E2=80=99re proposing:
Saddling future generations with $44 billion in additional debt
=C2=A0
$88 billion in additional tax with:

- Higher income tax rates
- Wealth tax
- Trust tax
- Inheritance tax
- Higher ACC levies
- Higher company tax
- Private jet tax
- Higher mining taxes
- Bringing back Labour=E2=80=99s broken tenant taxes
Reducing the prison population and closing military academies.
=C2=A0
Billions of dollars for unemployment benefits, while taxing those who work =
hard to support their families.

Chris Hipkins and Labour need to come clean about which policies they=E2=80=
=99ll accept from the Greens in exchange for power and how they plan to dra=
g the New Zealand economy into the ground.=C2=A0
=C2=A0
The good news is, there are still adults in the room. On May 22, the Nation=
al-led Government will deliver a responsible Budget =E2=80=93 focused on:

- Growing the economy=C2=A0
- Easing the cost of living
- Restoring business confidence
- Securing a better future for all Kiwis
We cannot afford another term of reckless spending and higher taxes. The La=
bour=E2=80=93Greens=E2=80=93Te P=C4=81ti M=C4=81ori coalition is a recipe f=
