John,
Today, I’m calling out Andrew Cuomo for selling out New York City workers and bankrolling his campaign with contributions from anti-labor, multi-million dollar companies.

I’ll explain more in a second, but first, can you chip in any amount to support my campaign and kick corruption out of City Hall for good?

Here’s the deal: We just learned that Cuomo’s super PAC accepted a $1 million contribution from DoorDash. This is the same super PAC that was caught illegally coordinating with his campaign.
Even by Cuomo’s standards, this is gross. Here’s why:
DoorDash is trying to buy Andrew Cuomo’s election so he’ll roll back protections for delivery workers.
For years, the company has been fighting tooth and nail to make it harder for delivery workers to get the pay and protections they need. Their $1 million contribution to Cuomo’s super PAC is a clear attempt to guarantee Cuomo’s support of their anti-worker agenda.
I know a thing or two about protections for delivery workers — because I got them passed. On the City Council, I fought to guarantee a minimum wage for delivery workers at companies like DoorDash — the first law of its kind in the nation. Lobbyists on behalf of the food delivery companies tried to kill it, and I fought to preserve it.
Here in New York City, we have over 65,000 delivery workers, the majority of whom are immigrants. Make no mistake: Cuomo couldn’t care less about workers’ rights or our immigrant neighbors who make our City run.
Andrew Cuomo is in this race to answer to the highest bidder. I’m in this race to deliver honest, effective leadership to City Hall — supporting workers every step of the way.
Let’s end corruption once and for all and bring honesty back to City Hall.
I can’t be bought, John. If you’re able to, please chip in to support my campaign for Mayor.
Thank you.
