Our fight to transform the Democratic Party is surging, and the media is
actually paying attention. The Hill just published a story highlighting
our progressive movement’s push to move on from the corporate,
out-of-touch incumbents holding our party back.

Our communications director, Usamah Andrabi, made our case clear:

[ [link removed] ]“Voters are fed up with this entire class of incumbents,” said Usamah
Andrabi, spokesperson for Justice Democrats, a liberal group advocating
for a new crop of younger progressives. “There are too many corporate,
establishment politicians who they feel like are do-nothing Democrats in
the face of this existential threat,” he added. “And it’s time to usher in
a new generation.”

While Donald Trump is set on making the rich even richer off the backs of
working families while eroding our most basic rights, too many Democrats
are content with protecting the status quo and refusing to fight back.

That failed playbook won’t save us, and our base knows it. Young people
and working-class families across the country are disillusioned with this
party, because they realize they deserve better.

That’s why Justice Democrats is leading the charge to clean house. We’re
taking on do-nothing Democrats bankrolled by corporate cash in next year’s
primary elections – and we have a plan to win.

We’ve already endorsed Donavan McKinney – running against multimillionaire
incumbent Rep. Shri Thanedar – in Michigan’s 13th district, and more
endorsements are on the way.

For years, Justice Democrats has been unafraid to take on the Democratic
establishment and build progressive power in Congress by helping elect
bold leaders like the Squad, and we’re ready to grow our bloc even more
this cycle. But we can’t do it alone,
