We just wrapped up a planning meeting and had to sit down to write this.
Because while some folks are playing politics, Summer Lee is in the fight
of her life—for us.
Whether it’s standing up for the federal workers who were fired unfairly,
pushing for peace when too many are pushing for war, or fighting back
against the Trump-era gutting of federal agencies—Summer is giving it
hell.

Now, here's the twist. While Summer’s out here doing the work—the real
work—a Democrat just jumped in the race to run against her. Yeah. You read
that right. While Summer is fighting Trump, this person’s fighting…
Summer.
And I’ve gotta say, it’s exhausting. And sadly, it’s not surprising. Black
women in politics face these kinds of challenges all the time. Did you
know Black women candidates raise one-third of what white candidates raise
on average? That makes every dollar we raise for Summer today even more
important.
This isn’t just any seat. Summer Lee is the first Black woman ever elected
to Congress from Pennsylvania. She made history—and she’s out here making
change. But we’ve seen what happens when the establishment gets nervous
about someone like Summer actually delivering for our communities.
We can’t let them drown her out.
