   John,
Pesticide giants use toxic “forever chemicals” in their products – and
this poison is being sprayed ALL over our food!
These chemicals are terrifying because once they’re in our bodies,
they never break down, causing cancer, infertility, birth defects, and
   more.
And it’s only getting worse. In the EU, the amount of fruit and vegetables
polluted by these chemicals (called PFAS) TRIPLED in just ten years.
But right now we have a chance to push for a ban on the use of PFAS
   pesticides in the EU.
Our partners are gearing up to test hundreds of vegetables in stores
across Europe to expose this chemical scandal. But they’re asking for help
so they can get started right away. With all of us chipping in, we could
fund these important tests, then plaster the results in the media ahead of
a major EU meeting in May – and finally force officials to act!
John, Trump is trying to dismantle crucial protections against
these poisons so it’s more important than ever that we ramp up pressure on
lawmakers everywhere to fight back against toxic chemicals.
Can you chip in to help?

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are used in all kinds of
products we use every day—from raincoats to frying pans—because they help
make things water, stain, and grease-resistant. But that’s not all.
Pesticide giants are now using PFAS in their formulations, and as a
result, fruit and vegetables across Europe are increasingly contaminated
   with toxic pesticide residues.
Delicious vegetables like cucumbers, peppers, and potatoes are among the
most contaminated. And many of them are believed to contain three
different PFAS pesticides in a single sample.
It's a public health nightmare because PFAS are extremely toxic even at
low levels. Yet our governments have STILL failed to ban their use in
pesticides that drench our crops every day.
   Now we can change that.
Our friends at Pesticide Action Network Europe are ready to spring into
action, testing 300 fruits and vegetables sold in shops around Europe for
traces of PFAS. With all of us chipping in, we could help them start these
tests right away, then expose this scandal ahead of a major EU meeting to
finally FORCE our governments to take action. Then, we’ll keep going to
protect everyone everywhere from toxic chemicals.
All we need to do is raise the funds to make it happen. Can you chip in to
   help?
