💐Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful moms in our community. I am so happy that Lauren and I will be spending some quality time together today, dining and relaxing!

I’m sure many of you understand the pride parents sometimes feel for their child’s accomplishments. For me, watching my daughter day in and day out serve our community in Congress is something I could have never dreamed of.

I couldn’t be prouder of all of the amazing things Lauren has accomplished. From introducing the Job Protection Act, the largest expansion of FMLA in history which ensures working people and mothers can provide for their loved ones without fear for job security, to passing the Protecting Moms Who Served Act as part of her work to address maternal mortality — her work is changing lives for people here in the 14th and nationwide.

This Mother’s Day, I’m especially grateful for all of the work she’s done to help our community as a strong, determined leader in Congress. Staying true to our values, she’s continuing to support working families and expand access to quality, affordable health care.

Lauren is dedicated to solving problems and putting our neighbors first — I know she is because that’s how she was raised.

With so many tough battles ahead of them, Lauren and her team are doing all they can to keep bringing solutions back to her district.

Today, any support you can offer to help Lauren as she continues her fight in Congress would be deeply appreciated.
