John — I’m honored to serve as Vice-Chair of the DSCC (the Senate Democrats’ campaign arm), where I’m tasked with helping Democrats fighting to flip the Senate blue.

Senate Republicans have bent the knee to Trump on everything — confirming his dangerously unqualified nominees, giving Elon Musk free rein to raid the federal government, allowing Trump to attack critical programs like Social Security and Medicare, and so much more.
We know that Donald Trump doesn’t care one bit about adhering to the rule of law and doing what’s right for the American people, which means that we need a Senate majority that will stand up to him.
That’s where we come in, John. In 2026, 33 Senate seats will be on the ballot. We don’t need to win all 33 seats to win the majority, but we do need to defend all our Democratic-held seats and flip four GOP-held seats.
We need to protect Democratic incumbents in these states:
- Jon Ossoff in Georgia
- John Hickenlooper in Colorado
- Mark Warner in Virginia
- Cory Booker in New Jersey
And we also have a few incumbent Democratic Senators retiring, which means we’ll need to make sure the open races remain blue in these states:
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- New Hampshire
- Illinois
On top of that tall task, we have to flip four more seats. We know that Republicans are going to spend BIG in every single one of these states to defend and expand their Republican majority, so we need to prepare to fight back.
