I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but it bears repeating:

Republicans in Congress are plotting a budget scheme to steal millions of hardworking Americans’ Medicaid and SNAP benefits to pay for another billionaire tax break.

I won’t stand for it. And I’m taking action.

I just signed onto a motion—titled Hands Off Medicaid and SNAP—to block any Republican attempts to cut these crucial benefits, and I’m asking you to stand with me. Please, sign onto my petition and call on Speaker Mike Johnson to keep his hands off Americans’ Medicare and SNAP benefits. →

If Republicans get their way, this budget bill will include the largest cuts to Medicaid and food assistance in the history of our nation.

I’m pulling every lever of power I have to stop it. I’ve voted NO every step of the way. I’ve sounded the alarm on the GOP budget scheme in the media. And now, I’m joining with my colleagues in the House to force a vote to protect these crucial benefits.
