John, the Trump administration is setting a goal to fire around 83,000 employees from the VA. And now we know from leaked documents that the Trump and DOGE team disrupted critical VA medical research and clinical trials.
It’s not complicated what Trump and DOGE are doing: They are trying to dismantle and weaken the VA so much that they have an excuse to sell it off to the highest bidder.
I refuse to sit back while Trump and Republicans try to gut and privatize the VA.
I’m Chris Deluzio, a Navy veteran who served in Iraq and at sea. You better believe I will do all I can to stop this.
My fellow veterans' lives are not some pawn in this Administration's BS game. This is a betrayal of veterans, period.
I’m leading the fight against privatization of the VA and defending the benefits that my fellow veterans earned. If you’re with me, please make a donation to help me continue the work to defend the VA and stand for our veterans → [[link removed]]

I represent Pennsylvania’s 17th District in Congress, and Trump’s hiring freeze impacted life-saving VA clinical trials and research happening right here in Western PA.
Pennsylvania is home to over 700,000 veterans—making it fourth highest in the nation for veteran population. We know what it’s like to wear the uniform and have pride in our legacy of service.
And we damn sure know that the VA isn’t for sale.
Where I’m from in PA, and across the country, patriotic families proudly show pictures of loved ones in uniform. Patriotism isn’t just a word—it’s personal.
So as this Administration tries to privatize the VA and sell it off to the highest bidder—which we know will hurt veterans' earned care—you better believe I'm gonna fight back.
Together, we must stand up to Trump and Republicans who are trying to privatize the VA and defend my fellow veterans' hard-earned care. This is a fight I intend to win—and I can’t do it without you by my side.
Are you with me in this fight, John? Please, chip in today to help me protect the VA and continue my work fighting for veterans in Congress → [[link removed]]
