Unless we stop them, gun extremists in the North Carolina General Assembly are about to put NC kids in danger. Two bills, HB 193¹ and SB 280,² create pathways for some school personnel, teachers, and volunteers to carry handguns on private school property.

These bills are moving FAST, and many North Carolinians are not aware of what’s at stake, or what they can do. We need your help Monday 5/12 and Tuesday 5/13 alerting voters to the dangers of these bills so that they can take action.

HB 193 has passed the House, and is now in the Senate. A similar bill, SB 280, passed the Senate on Wednesday and is headed to the House. We still have time to stop these bills, if we act now. Sign up to alert other North Carolinians before it’s too late.
