Chairman’s Report
Dear John,

Whether it was their bail "reform" laws that let dangerous criminals back on the street or now their latest measures, the anti-police rhetoric and policies under Andrew Cuomo, Bill de Blasio and the Democrat-controlled state government are creating a real and present danger for public safety and law enforcement.

Every day, our police officers work hard to ensure professional and ethical law enforcement, while also ensuring that those officers who overstep the mark are held accountable. The overwhelming majority of our law enforcement consists of honest, hard-working public servants -- and they deserve better.

We know the critical role law enforcement plays in protecting our communities and businesses, but we wanted to hear directly from former members of the law enforcement community who are serving--or want to serve--in public office. I was pleased to have Senator Fred Akshar, retired NYPD officer and Congressional candidate John Cummings, and retired NYS Trooper and candidate for State Senate Rich Amedure on as this week’s guests on my weekly town hall event. It was a great conversation that didn’t disappoint.

If you were unable to join us, please take the time to watch the town hall below.

Sincerely,
Nick Langworthy
