JD Vance just attacked Ilhan and tried to incite the far-right against her once again.

A fear-mongering, conspiracy-peddling social media account took an 8-year-old video of Ilhan and clipped it out of context.

Then JD Vance amplified the false smear — calling Ilhan a “disgrace” and “sick”.

The attacks are only going to ramp up from here with Donald Trump and his far-right nationalist buddies back in power. Can you please split a $5 donation between Ilhan’s campaign and Justice Democrats today to help us fight back against their lies and smears?

No matter your politics, the Vice President of the United States should not be using their platform to elevate conspiracies and make personal attacks.

The clip they chose was an important and nuanced conversation about a report that said white supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of “extremist-related murders.”

They tried to remove all context from that to say Ilhan was calling for genocide.

That’s rich coming from the people actively supporting a genocide in Gaza.

But this is how the far-right operates. We know that they will do anything they can to take down Ilhan. Their billionaire cronies and super PACs will spend limitless sums on smear attacks just like this.

So we have to fight back.
