Congress is discussing budgets this week, and steep cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) could be on the table. 

We can’t let that happen.

SNAP is more than just a nutrition program, especially in rural America.  

It helps families from the most impoverished places put food on the table. It provides steady meals so children can grow. It even sends business to small grocers and local farmers.  

Cutting SNAP would be devastating for kids AND the economy. Please, urge your lawmakers to protect this vital safety net!

So, on top of driving up child hunger, these cuts would stall economic growth in rural communities – where it’s needed most.  

With grocery prices up 25% since 2020, safeguarding SNAP is more essential than ever. 

Families are already at their breaking point. Don’t let lawmakers strip away the support kids need to thrive.
