Because they want to use those dollars to fund tax cuts for rich men like themselves.

Let’s get this right: They are cutting healthcare and nutrition programs to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest 1%.

This policy choice — stealing from the poor to enrich the wealthy — is grotesque. And to do this when economists say that the U.S. could be heading into a recession? It’s cruel.

Sadly, the cruelty is the point with this administration.
