Pittsburgh Public Schools reduced its racial pay disparity, with a previous $20,000 gap in median salaries between white and Black employees narrowing to about $3,000 last year.

But female employees earned about $9,000 less than their male counterparts, according to PublicSource’s annual review of district pay data ([link removed]) .
