John,

June 12 is Texas Women Veterans Day, which recognizes the service and sacrifice of my fellow women veterans, and celebrates all women that have shown valor and grace in the line of duty. Besides this recognition, I fought to get women veterans the benefits and services they earned by serving their country.

GRAPHIC: Today is Women Veterans Day in Texas!

I am proud to have been a proponent of this bill as the CEO of Grace After Fire, the non-profit organization founded to assist women who fought for this country adjust to civilian life. We realized that the challenges female veterans face are unique and cannot be solved with a one-size-fits-all approach.

That’s why organizations like Grace After Fire continue to work with both the public and private sectors to create a better life for women who served.

I’m looking forward to championing women veterans issues, healthcare, policing reform, and dozens of other issues in Congress, but I need your help to get there.

Can you chip in $5 to help my campaign hit our fundraising goal for the FINAL QUARTER before the runoff? We’re running a couple of thousand dollars behind our pace, so we need you to step up today!

Send this veteran to Congress! [link removed]
