When Amsterdam News asked me why I’m running, I didn’t shy away. I put it plainly:
🗣️ The rent is too damn high.
💰 The wages are too damn low.
🚪 And City Hall has abandoned on working-class New Yorkers.
I’m not here to make anyone comfortable. I’m here to name what’s broken — and to build something better. That’s what I told them. And if you’ve been feeling like no one in power sees you, hears you, or fights for you, I hope it resonated.
Because saying the truth out loud matters — but so does building the power to act on it.
I’m not taking money from real estate developers or billionaires. I’m running a campaign powered by people who know this city should belong to us — and are ready to fight for it.
