Gratitude is a powerful thing and means so much to our service members when they are far from home — believe me, I know.

My husband currently serves in the United States Marine Corps and has served on urgent missions all over the world. I'm so proud of him, but it's hard on military families like ours to spend holidays and other special days thousands of miles apart.
