Yes. According to a recent lawsuit, four of the largest potato processors in America – controlling 95% of the frozen potato market – have been running a rotten potato price-fixing scheme. Over the past two years, prices rose by 47% even as input costs for the companies dropped.
That’s no small potatoes! And taters aren’t the only foods seeing this sort of price gouging.
