In case you missed it, Seattle Antifa organized the first major direct action in over a year, and the first in 2025.

Roughly three dozen militants dressed in black bloc attire and gas masks barricaded themselves in a campus building on Monday night.

A few hours later, a large police contingent dressed in riot gear cleared Antifa from the building, making at least 30 arrests.

Charges include disorderly conduct, trespassing, property destruction, and conspiracy.

Additionally, over the May Day weekend, police arrested Antifa militants in Frederick, MD and Eugene, OR.


Meanwhile, on the other side of the world:

- Israel is recalling "tens of thousands" of reservists after the Israeli security cabinet approved a total conquest plan for Gaza

- Turkey conducted an electronic warfare attack on an Israeli jet flying over Syria

- India is conducting large-scale civil defense exercises ahead of a potential war with Pakistan

- And China asserted sovereignty over the Senkaku Islands, in a move that could precede a military seizure of the Japanese islands
