On June 14, Donald Trump wants tanks in the streets. He wants to
grandstand, with our flag and our soldiers as props. He wants to be a
tyrant king -- so he’s throwing himself a taxpayer-funded parade on his
birthday, just like he’s seen other tyrants do.
But we don’t do kings here. And together, we’ll let Donald Trump know
it. While Trump hosts his birthday parade in DC, we’ll rise up everywhere
else -- with your help, in numbers even bigger than Hands Off! -- to show
him what real power looks like.

No crowns. No thrones. No kings.
Those are principles America was founded upon. They were the battle cry of
the Continental Congress that adopted the American flag in June of 1777,
in the midst of a war to throw off a monarchy. June 14 in fact -- Flag
Day.
Donald Trump has disgraced those principles. He’s actively defying our
courts, sidelining Congress, cracking down on dissent, and, with this
ego-driven military parade, stealing from the people to pay for his
birthday party.
No Kings Day is how we’ll remind Trump, and all of our fellow Americans,
that we don’t suffer kings in this country. Trump wants the world to see a
glorious and powerful ruler, but what we’ll show them is a weak and
unpopular president -- a lame duck flailing for attention as the masses
stand up to reject him.
Millions showed up on April 5 for the Hands Off! protests. Over a thousand
events were held during the May Day mobilization last week.
On June 14, let’s stand together again, in even bigger numbers, against

How do we start?
To underscore the scale of our movement, we’re working with a growing
number of partner organizations to launch local events in every state and
community outside of Washington, DC on June 14. The next step towards
making No Kings Day HUGE is recruiting folks on the ground to step up and
host events in their area.

Our commitment to peaceful protest
A core principle of Indivisible is a commitment to nonviolent action. To
minimize the potential for conflict, we’re not accepting registration of
any events in Washington, DC on June 14, and we strongly encourage all our
allies and supporters to avoid the area of Trump’s military parade.
Let Trump have his little party in DC.
We’ll show our power everywhere else.
