Friend,
Words matter—especially when they come from someone who holds the highest office in Illinois.
Governor JB Pritzker’s dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric inciting violence against Republicans cannot be ignored.
At a time when unity and leadership are needed, Pritzker instead called for “mass protests” against Republicans—while launching his 2028 presidential campaign from New Hampshire. Not once did he call for peace. Not once did he urge restraint.
And this comes less than a year after President Trump survived not one but two assassination attempts—fueled by the exact kind of reckless, ego-driven rhetoric Pritzker is promoting.
In case you missed it, here’s what Chairman Kathy Salvi had to say:
“If I were in charge and I had a say, it would be my opinion that there should be an open investigation for criminal incitement by this governor, because words matter.” — Chair Kathy Salvi, to The Center Square
“JB Pritzker’s ego-driven obsession with becoming President is putting Illinois, and Republicans across the country, at risk.” — Statement to WGN
“His inflammatory and dangerous speech is focused on further dividing our country, and I hope to see Illinois Democrats condemn his call for violence.” — Chair Salvi, to WGN
This isn’t politics as usual—this is a governor using his taxpayer-funded position to incite division and stoke rage against millions of Americans.
Enough is enough. It’s time to hold JB Pritzker accountable.
We are calling on grassroots Republicans across Illinois to help us do just that. We’re launching an emergency fund to demand an investigation and build awareness across the state.
