Addressing the mental and behavioral health crisis in Oregon has been a pillar of Tina's platform since the first day she stepped into office.

While we've seen real progress over the past couple of years, there's still so much to do.

Tina has spoken with health care providers around the state, and time and time again, she’s heard about the difficulties they face in meeting their community’s needs.

She’s also heard from folks who want to make a difference in our mental health crisis, but have trouble affording the cost of the education and training needed to get a start in the field.

To address this crisis, Tina is making historic investments to meet our state’s need for behavioral health services, from increasing the behavioral health workforce to addressing the cycle of homelessness and untreated mental health issues.

No matter where you live or what you can afford, every Oregonian deserves access to high-quality health care, behavioral services, and support.
