I want to share something I’m deeply proud of, John: Our average grassroots online donation to JanePAC last month was around $24.

Not $2,400 from high-powered lobbyists or billionaires trying to cozy up to power. Just $24. From teachers and nurses. From students, retirees, and working parents — people chipping in what they can to emails like this one because they believe in this fight.

And let me tell you — that $24 goes a long way. It’s what helps us elect climate champions in places where Big Oil thinks they’ve already won, and it helps us build an unbreakable firewall at the state and local level against Donald Trump and his dirty agenda.

But here’s the problem: Trump and his MAGA bandwagon are actively working to dismantle every protection we’ve fought for. They are gutting the EPA, boosting coal production, and handing the keys to the polluters, all to pad their profits while our communities pay the price.

I’ve been alive long enough to know that people power is the only thing that will break the fossil fuel industry’s grip on our lives. So today, I’m asking because this work is only possible when people like you step up and make it happen.
