We can't give up

John,

For 21 years, HOPE not hate have been fighting the far-right - on the streets, online and at the ballot box. Alongside people like you, we’ve fended off the British National Party, UKIP, the English Democrats and Britain First.

But this time feels different. Yesterday, Reform UK won 667 new councillors, another MP and now control 10 councils. It’s a political earthquake.

Right now, it might feel bleak. But we can’t give up. Our movement is built on the concept of HOPE. The idea that ordinary people can work together to build resilient communities who resist the far-right.

I know that right now, mustering up hope feels almost impossible. But remember, hope isn’t a feeling, it’s an action.

Yesterday, I sat down with our campaigns team. We discussed what was necessary to take on Reform UK next year in Wales, Scotland, London and dozens of councils across England.

With your support, here’s what we need to do next: ([link removed])

Hold Reform UK’s newly elected politicians to account.

Prevent Reform-led councils pushing through anti-asylum seeker and anti-climate action policies.

Investigate candidates and politicians and expose them when they fail to meet the electorate’s standards

Build community campaigns which speak to voters susceptible to Reform

Create and train HOPE not hate groups across the country so they can led the fightback

Win the air war - we’ll commission polling, showing that most people believe in community over division, and run digital adverts that reach voters up and down the country.

And that’s where you come in, John

We’re launching the 2026 club. A new fund to power this next phase of work. Every donation will go directly into exposing Reform’s lies, empowering local people and pushing back against hate. ([link removed])

We’ve beaten the far right before. With your help, I know we can do it again.

P.S. I know that times are tough right now and not everyone is in a position to donate. If you haven’t already, sign up to our campaign to take on Reform UK

I'll take action against Reform UK ([link removed])
