Dear John,
International conservation programs that protect iconic species like elephants and support sustainable livelihoods are facing devastating cuts. The President just released his budget for the coming year, and it proposes to zero out much of this funding and eliminate some of these programs entirely.
In the past, Congress has rejected attempts to cut programs that support conservation efforts around the world, even passing bills to increase some areas of funding. We need them to do the same again this year. |

Right now, Members of Congress are circulating several sign-on letters in the House that support US assistance for conservation worldwide. Their deadlines are fast approaching and need your Representative’s attention today.
Here’s how you can take action. It’ll take less than 5 minutes. Fill out your information, so we can locate your Representative Add a personal note to the pre-written message about why you care about US funding for conservation Ask your Representative to sign onto the letters before their deadlines

Your message can remind Congress that Americans value international conservation and highlight how US assistance benefits interests both at home and abroad.
Thanks in advance for helping protect wildlife, habitats, and communities worldwide. |

Sincerely,
Sara WWF Action Team
