This week, the inevitable, yet absurd has happened.  Seven Articles of Impeachment were filed against new President Donald Trump to remove him from office. And, it’s only been 100 days in office! I thought the radical Democrats  issue with Trump was that he was a “Threat to Democracy”.  

Wouldn’t one of the biggest threats to democracy be trying to overturn an election by the people, only a short time after the President takes office?

Trump’s reaction? As he noted in Michigan this week, "Some guy that I never heard of….he said, ladies and gentleman, I am going to start the impeachment of Donald Trump, what the hell did I do? Here we go again, they want to impeach me… they’ve gone totally crazy…"

The guy that almost no one “has heard of“, is Detroit, Michigan Representative Shri Thanedar. A 70 year old chemist.  His seven allegations of “High Crimes” against Trump include abuse of executive power, usurpation, abuse of trade power, international aggression, creation of an unlawful office in DOGE and “Tyrannical Overreach”, whatever that is.

The radicals and crazies in Washington are down to just making things up now.  One specific complaint Thanedar has, which has been repeated all over legacy media, is that “Trump is defying a 9-0 Supreme Court order to bring back Kilmar Garcia from El Salvador.”  Except, this is a lie.

Maryland Federal District Judge Wilkinson said that the President must “Facilitate and effectuate” The return of Garcia.  However, what the Supreme Court said, 9-0, was “The intended scope of the term “effectuate” in the District Court’s order is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court’s Authority.”

It looks like this entire set of wild claims is D.O.A. as of today, thankfully. Even the most radical in the Democrat Party, such as Rep. Pete Aguilar (Calif.), the chair of the House Democratic Caucus and Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, have both pulled support for Thanedar’s nonsensical plan to impeach Donald Trump.

 You can bet however,  insane Articles of Impeachment like this will keep on coming, one after the next, in an attempt to cost the Trump Administration any vision or any momentum to achieve it. It’s not that Congressional Democrats don’t want to undermine Democracy by throwing out the President….it’s that they just don’t think they can get away with it… yet. 

When they try, we will be here to stand in the way of this demented overreach.
