BREAKING: Donald Trump signs order to CUT funding for NPR and PBS

John, I’m livid:

Donald Trump just signed an executive order to CUT federal funding for NPR and PBS.

Public broadcasting has been a pillar of our society for over 50 years – but now Trump plans to blanket the airwaves with right-wing propaganda, spread misinformation, and deceive the American public.

It is disgraceful. It is a threat to our democratic institutions. And I won’t stand for it.

As House Democrats’ Campaign Chair, I am going to make his schemes completely BACKFIRE – but I need your help.
 

John, this couldn’t be more urgent. Public broadcasting provides fair and honest journalism to millions of Americans, but that will all be stripped away if we don’t act now. We CANNOT let Trump and his billionaire cronies get away with this.
