Fellow Democrat,
I want to share some thoughts with you about the vision the DNC recently announced for the road ahead - and why our shared commitment to that vision is more important than ever.
The DNC is embracing a bold “57-state strategy,” grounded in a powerful truth: when we organize everywhere, we create the conditions to win anywhere. No state should be considered a lost cause - when we write off entire communities, we hold back our own progress.
But here’s the key: this strategy only works if we all buy in. When we act together, when we commit to a shared plan and carry it out at every level - from school boards, to select boards and all the way to the White House - we accelerate the path to real, lasting change. Collective action isn’t just powerful, it’s transformational.
We have to compete in every race, in every district every time. No race is too small for investment or organizing. Victory comes from showing up - early, often and everywhere.
This announcement is great news. It only reinforces the MassDems’ commitment to organizing every precinct and community in the Commonwealth, 365 days a year - and not just in election years - to build our party through increased participation and engagement.
Think about the people in your own community. Who do you know with leadership potential? Encourage them to run for local office. Our democracy depends on everyday people stepping up.
Let’s commit - together - to doing more in our neighborhoods and communities. Whether you give your time, your voice, your vote or your dollars, every action contributes to the larger movement.
If you can, please chip in today to support the MassDems current efforts to support local races in the Commonwealth and critical elections across the nation. Together, we can organize - and win - everywhere.
